Yea...but it takes literally a couple of months. I recently had a jewelry shop fix it (the band had broken at the bottom) which took 2 days....drove me CRAZY not having it on my hand haha

I get that. I sent mine to Balfour for resizing, and it took them forever.

I had mine remade about 3 years ago. I wanted to get it resized and put the Tiger Band logo on it (since that was an option I think 1 semester after I graduated). I also had it upgraded to gold to match the school colors since all I could afford in college was the shitty fake silver. I wear it on my right middle finger (it ended up coming back bigger than I thought) all the time.

Didnt buy one, was holding out we would win the national champ one year. We did get to the sweet 16 and lose 4-0 in about an hour and a half

My dad wears his LSU law ring occasionally

the new one that everyone gets, and the one that matched the original lsu commencement in 1869 with original markings and language. That is the one I framed

I've worn mine to a few weddings but that's about it. I made sure to get white gold so I'd never be confused with an Aggy

I feel like the purple stone does a great job of that

Kinda bummed cause the U recently came off the stone

Balfour will fix that for you. Go online and there are forms you can fill out requesting what is wrong, etc.

Usually takes about 4 weeks.

4 weeks isn't bad...I was quoted 12-16 weeks the first time I asked about a repair and I'm just not willing to go that long. Maybe after football season haha

I wore mine for about 8 years after graduation. Quit wearing it a few years ago because I went back to school, and decided that as part of my goal I was to not wear the ring again until I am finished.

When I graduated from LSU in '99, I didn't think buying an over-priced ring was worth it. My dad offered to pay for it and talked me into getting one even though I might not wear it much. I even went to a small ceremony (not sure if this was extra cost) that Chancellor/President? Jenkins facilitated.

I've only worn it a couple of times since then but found it in an old shoe box on Sunday. I may put it somewhere more visible and try wearing it on game days or other.

Hearing horror stories about ring injuries from working out at the gym or that Nicholls coach (at the bar) scare me enough to limit wearing it much.
