STTDB made it to Section 244. Some drunk student was yelling it where there were kids around.
I told him to take it to the student section. He stayed but he did not say it again.

STTDB was audible in the SEZ.. I didn't hear anyone around me saying it, but the students definitely made themselves heard...
I'm not offended, but I don't have kids either. The stadium gets pumped when the band plays "Neck", it's shitty that the student section has to ruin it.

At the end of the day that is the student's school. The LSU football team represents an educational establishment and the students who actually belong to that establishment can and will say what they want to support that establishment.
That is their team not mine, yours or your children's. Don't want your children to hear the word "dick" then lock them in a room, feed them from a slot in the door and pray to god that their uncle doesn't let it slip during Christmas dinner.
I hate the fact that they are the cause of neck getting taken away as well but they apparently don't care if they play it or not and there is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can do about that so either deal with it or give up your tickets.

Damn. I can understand how some people don't like STTDB, but to say that the student section sucks is just ridiculous. The SS is the heart and soul of tiger stadium and anybody who thinks differently just isn't paying attention.
NOBODY is louder and more energetic throughout a game than the student section. And don't tell me "oh but they leave early" because that's a stadium wide problem, not just one section.

I'm not saying I support every word we yell, but saying that we suck as a whole is a bit much. If the whole student section were to stay silent and let the rest of the stadium carry the load on a third down play, Death Valley would sound like a damn Kentucky home game.

This is already happening at other universities. It will continue to be the trend because, though "they will cheer the whole game", the reputation and the real money is going to be in trying to create a more wholesome, family atmosphere, where you don't have to protect your wifes reputation, or put hands over your kids ears.
The students will only have themselves to blame.

To say this is a students right is just one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard.
It is a lack of respect to other tiger fans and a compete lack of class.
LSU students deserve whatever they get .
Take all their seats and make them buy a ticket .
I went to college and I got drunk often but I never had to resort to showing my arse in front of kids or use abusive language in public in front of other people to have a good time.
That is the excuse of a spoiled generation where mama and daddy didn't teach them how to act in public.
LSU football games should be a place where you bring your kids without having to let them hear garbage being spewed by slef righteous drunks who take no pride in their school.
What a shame LSU students feel entitled to show their lack of class and pride.
And don't tell me its just a few . Police yourself or lose priviledges.
Put the students up in the upper deck. You act like the students are LSU football.
The Team is LSU football and with your garbage mouths are the embarrassment of the University.

Why not take away student seating all together? You are a man with a severe case of vaginal inflammation going on, so seek out a good gynecologist. The student section has been reduced many times over the years for people as you(probably a non alum) so really and truly GFY.
