LSU dad, I may be interested in joining up with your bus group. I have a group of 6 people that are looking for transportation to and from the game, as well a tailgate party. Can you give me more details?

We are looking into a bus that will take us in, open law remember. You can bring your own booze, chips, etc on the bus. Looks to be around $30-40/pp.
Let me know if you want in. We will have the bus for about 8 hrs.

The bus will drop us off and wait in the lot for us, also the bus will have a booze tag and parking pass.

where are you getting the bus from/to?
And are you planning on tailgating by/near the stadium at all?

most LSU fans would rather live in horrible places. that's what happens when you go to college in a "city" like baton rouge

The bus will make a couple stops for pick-up and drop-off.

The bus will have a parking pass, drop off at the stadium and pick-up. We can sit in or walk around from the bus on campus. The driver will have the booze ticket, allowing onboard drinking.

Don't know how strict they are about walking around campus with a beer in your hand.

I have heard that they really have no problem with descreet drinking on gameday....however, I seriously doubt that they will put up with the dumbassery that we typically see around tiger stadium...frankly, LSU fans are seen as the bottom of the barrel in college football circles...step out of line with a drink in your hand and I am betting you get to experience the seattle jail first hand...

judging by the number that are being traded on the boards, I'd say a good number....looks like a lot of folks applied for tickets, but didn't really think they would get them...

personally, I don't think I would travel that far and risk not seeing the game, though (I'm not much of a risk taker)...

A few assholes of the tens of thousands, one guy said poo-poo (ouch...now that's insane ), one guy said "expletive" because he didn't want to curse, a bunch of 'tiger baits' (really no biggie).

Of course, LSU has SOME idiot fans, but 95-99% are pretty cool and just having a good time.

I do wish the idiots would just go away, but I'm proud of those who share their tailgating food, give visiting fans directions, and even send out a good ol' 'tiger bait' now and then.

I do agree that the majority of LSU fans are very good and classy people....can't say that I agree with the 95% - 99% figure, though...particularly for the big games....

if you don't think this gets way out of hand, try an experiment on the day of the florida game this year....find an elderly couple or a family with a couple of small children from the visiting team dressed in their colors...follow them from a safe distance and listen to the things that are said and done...I'll gaurantee that after a couple of hours your opinion will be changed....

I did this year before last when some friends of mine from Florida attended and I was flat embarrassed....

Alcohol makes people turn into Sugar Ray Leonard, Einstein, Evel Knievel, Drunken Sailors, etc. Its on every campus, Pro game, bar/nite club, you don't have to look far.

Go make a Bama/Auburn, Ole Miss/Miss St., Tx./Ok game.

You'll have the Tiger Baiters, then 1 min. later they feed you so much, you can't get up.

I've always been helpful to opposing fans. Some opposing fans will send in a note to the Advocate giving props to the Tiger Fans, you see this every year. Then you have the ones that say, "I can't wait to come back, this is the best Football Atmosphere!"
