T or F .The country is basically acting as if our season began with Orgeron.

I say true.

Two losses to get knocked out of the rankings. Fired Miles.

We now are knocking on the top tens door, as if those losses never happened.

I can understand the PC ranking, since we do look good.

Not complaining, as it is a completely different team under Orgeron. But we made a huge ratings leap.

Well in saban's press conference, he indicated that he considered this team undefeated, as they are a much different team with an offense that is much more open.

I think the losses are holding us back, but not as much as they would be if we still had Miles. Everyone sees the change in the team since Orgeron took over and is taking that into account.

Not sure what else saban could say. He definitely wasnt going to say, "you know they are a 2 loss team and im not concerned about em."

The nation doesnt follow LSU very closely. LSU isnt getting new life because of COE in the poles. Its because they are winning and looking good. If they gave us a clean slate we would be the number 1 or 2 two loss team, not 4.

We are behind penn st if that helps put it in perspective.

Beat bama and we join the top 10.

We have 3 top ten opponents left. Win out and its hard not to be number 1-4

He could have said a lot without saying that and without sating their offense is much tougher to defend. I'm up in Alabama and didn't realize how big LSU week was up here...so you can downplay it all you want. Saban realizes this is a totally different team.

If LSU wins out, there will be massive benefit of the doubt. Look at the remaining schedule.

That being said, we are hanging a lot of optimism (delusion?) on some mediocre to bad competition. If LSU beats Bama, then the talk becomes much more interesting.

Before the year started, on paper we looked playoff ready. Coach O has us matching the paper now.

Well if Saban said it you can be damn sure the SEC, NCAA, and knob slobbers on ESPN will fall in line.

The guy with a PSU avatar doesn't think LSU is nationally relevant?

LSU has been a prestige program for over a decade.

Seems pretty much true.

We're on the edge of national relevance.

Lose though, and we'll be irrelevant again in a New York second.

False. We would be in the top 5 if that was the case.
