Pushed around all night. Looked like lack of size was a problem. Discuss

I had the same concern everyone said we'll be ok!!

His last name is Hebert. We will be fine.

I know I'm not at practice or an insider but I dont know if we are playing the best 5 up front!

I dont think he was the problem. Hitt was getting pushed back all night. The right side of the line was getting blown up

Barksdale is still having problems too..

I'll agree... Barksdale seemed to get pushed back alot also

that DT playing over him looked like he weighed about 350 lbs

It seemed to me that the linemen did not always know who to block, especially when they were pass blocking.

Barksdale also allowed a sack by chasing the DE all the way into the middle of the O-line during a typical T-crosses-E stunt. That's a JV high school type of mistake.
As for T-Bob, I thought he looked awesome in the 1st quarter. I didn't notice him getting pushed around that much later in the game, but when watching on t.v., these things are very hard to know for sure, so I could be wrong.
I think overall, the O-line was competent but not spectacular. They would have looked a lot better in the running game if LSU had ran more with a FB. All of those single back draw-type of runs are based somewhat on deception, so a lot of those stuffs can just be a result of good reads by the defense.
It's the D-line that has me more worried, to be honest, but I liked what I saw from Josh Downs.

Everyone must be mistaken about the O-line and the D-line talent. Miles thinks this is the best O-line at LSU and Chavis stated this was a chamionship defense.

For linemen, I think talent predictions from HS are often wrong. I really don't think we have that much talent on either side.
In defense of Chavis, I think the context of his statement is just that it's his goal to have a championship caliber defense in his very first year at LSU--in other words, a "no excuses" type of thing, not an indication that this particular defense is so awesome compared to other teams or other years.

You don't play a kid cause his dad was a good player that is a high school mentality that can cost you an SEC game-

Why would be playing T-Bob cause of Bobby Hebert? He's not connected to LSU outside of being from the state, and I doubt Miles is that stupid.
