I'll stop around the next few days to answer any questions. My guide is being updated for next year...About 75% done. I can answer questions on lodging, golf, restaurants and touristy stuff.

Syracuse University has the tragic legacy of 35 students who were killed in the Pan Am 103 bombing over Lockerbie in 1988.

Terrible.

There's a memorial to them on campus, a visit to Syracuse for me would definitely include a visit to the memorial.

TexanMark, good work on your travel guides, thanks for your effort.

Nice

I've never been to Syracuse, but I went to a wedding at a winery in the Finger Lakes. It was a great trip and I would recommend it to people that have an extra day or two while they're up there Syracuse.

Beer selection at the Carrier Dome. The Oranges don't know what they are in for.

TexanMark hit on it in his guide but that time of year the fishing in Lake Ontario and Pulaski river area is really some of the best you can find. I would suggest drift boats or a charter. The river fishing can get pretty busy.

The only problem is the wait will be horrendous. Get there early if you want to experience it.

I heard folks from LA like to drink their adult beverages.

Here is a nice list for that Best Beer Bars in Cuse

I'd like to add that Clarks (A Cuse institution opened in a new location) reopened after the list came out. This is my top beer bar...and you have to try the roast beef sandwich. Clark's Ale House

Yes Sir, just within 90 mins of Syracuse: Cooperstown, 1000 Islands, Finger Lakes Wineries, a Great Lake, one of the biggest Entertainment Complexes in the Country, one of the largest Casinos in the East, World Class Fishing, the Adirondacks, Fall Foliage...when will be the next time LSU plays in the NE?
