I look for more like 10,000 fans. There were plenty of tickets available at the Carrier Dome site as of yesterday.

You all know who I am...I did not say we were coming to drink the town dry. It was meant more as a tourism piece to let them know that LSU was heading their way. I did say that they make their budget for the year with beer sales in the stadium. And yes we are very proud of our LSU contingent making its way to the northeast this weekend.

It should be a good time. I went to school upstate and they're generally very nice, polite people.

This state was founded and settled by Catholics. Catholic religion says you won't go to hell if you drink, and did we ever take that to heart. Even us non-Catholics (although I am half Catholic if that's allowed).

We told Seattle when we played Sark's team to get ready; they assured us they were prepared. There weren't.

Saints fans told Miami in 2010 Super Bowl. Get ready. THey scoffed. "we know how to pary in the MIA...get real". They ran out.

It's who we are. May as well embrace it.

There's going to be no alcohol left in central NY this weekend, it would seem. Syracuse fans love them some beer, as well. When we went to the Final Four a few years ago, from what I understand SU fans did the same thing you folks recently did in Seattle: drank so much that the host bars just plain ran out.

Here's hoping that if any drinking games break out between SU and LSU fans this weekend, at least we can win on the beer battleground. Cheers!

In the winters in Syracuse, the people who don't like to ski have exactly two things to do: drink, and watch basketball.

I don't ski.

Sadly, I'm in Texas these days so I won't be able to do my part in helping SU hold its own this weekend when it comes to boozing. I'll be there in spirit(s).

How nice of the article's author to offer his time, as quoted from the very bottom of his piece.
