It was GREAT to see the Orange Men back on track to being the BEASTS they were in the '60's. One of the most enjoyable competitive games I have seen in awhile. Syracuse and its fans are a CLASS ACT

I disagree here. We HAVE the QB. We just need the consistency between him and the WRs and the coaching staff to have faith in them. Harris showed what he can do with his 2 pass 75 yard drive yesterday. Once the drops and penalties get worked out, the passing game won't be such a issue.

Nah

They have a couple of good athletes. But, they have no QB at all. And, their defense is pretty average.

Nah, we've seen same vs other "decimated" sqads like UNC and '13 OM.
Take opp and pts any time you hear it.

they're not good at all. They didnt have a player out there that could start ahead of anyone at LSU.

game should have been a blowout, and just because it wasnt doesn't make them "pretty good"

I'll be rooting for them in the SEC and so will every other Syracuse fan.

And we will be rooting for Syracuse the rest of the way. I think LSU and Syracuse, both the teams and the fan bases, gained a lot of respect for each other this week. I'm looking forward to y'all's visit to Tiger Stadium in 2017.

I believe Syracuse gave LSU their best shot and my hat's off to them for coming out and making it a game.

Syracuse will win some games this year, no doubt. There's talent on the team and they appear to be well coached.

Our punter would be the best punter in the SEC. So we got that goin for us. Probably should have been a blowout, but I disagree with the notion we're not good at all. Get our QB back next week. Gonna win a lot of games.

In fact, last week at 229 yds after 3Q, the fans were grousing that he should've let him get the record (250) before pulling him. Miles said after game- A):he wasn't aware he was closing in on record, and B): it wouldn't have affected his decision on when to pull him out. So today (after runs of 80+ and 40 yds called back for penalties away from the ball.... that would have put him at around 370yds for the day) he was at around 215 with 2 minutes to kill on the clock.... Les put him in because in his mind he needed a 1st down, not a rushing record....
So, our fans go ballistic and say "Les is an idiot for risking Founette", and LF7 rips off another 30yds, putting him at 244 - fans promptly say "Les is a dick for not giving him another carry to break the record"...
Figure out how that "collective thought process" works and you can be our Resident Shrink.

The only team in the SEC they could beat is VAndy.

They could definitely beat Auburn. They were within 7 points of us with under 10 minutes to go in the game and we had to successfully hit a couple of passes to create some breathing room. They don't have a lot of talent, but they played tough and had a lot of fight in them.

Let's reconsider that statement. Their punter and their kick returner are quality. Their front 7 may have a player or so.

especially at home. they played damn hard tonight. if not for their qb struggles in the first half we might have been upset; thanks to our friggin' penalties and dropped passes.

I don't know how the 27 point line was justified by the bettors. in tiger stadium maybe, but that dome is loud as shite.
why is it when lsu struggles against weaker teams, do people say " this team will win 10 games , this team is definitely a bowl team, they will win their conference etc..? instead of admitting lsu had a bad game, they need to work on this?
