SVP says UNC situation is getting very bad

and we should expect something within the next 24 or 48 hours...He went on to say that, unless something drastically changes, UNC fans will not be happy with this.

Heard that also. Also his counterpart said going to a USC game in L.A. is "special" because everyone can go down to the sidelines.

I agree with you. The problem is I don't know if the pollsters will agree with us. They may use that as reason for not rewarding the Tigers in the polls. And the only reason I am worried about the polls is because of their obvious impact on the MNC game.

Not going to matter.
We have one of the toughest schedules in the country this year. UNC will be an afterthought when post-season rolls around.

Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. No matter what team UNC puts out there, if we win there won't be a huge climb in the rankings after 1 week. Pitt right in front of us might lose to Utah, and we probably wouldn't leap over the loser of Boise/Va. Tech unless that game was a huge blowout. Everybody else has cupcakes they should roll, so not a lot of movement possible.
At the end of the year, if we're in a position where polls matter, we'll most likely have beaten some combination of Bama, Florida, WVU, Arky, Auburn and the East champion. That should more than make up for any drag down by UNC.

If LSU wins all of their games, they will be in the title game. PERIOD.
Wins against UNC, WV, Florida, Bama, and Auburn will assure this.

If we run it up on UNC, it own't matter. The big concern is that this game won't tell us much. If our offense is decent, is it because our offense has improved, or is it because UNC was playing without half its starters on defense?
