Super excited for the rest of the season, but feels like we are on a bowl ban

I'm hearing some good things and liking the attitude change within the program, but even if LSU somehow goes undefeated and wins the sec it will be hard to make the playoffs. Would be Miles' final farewell from the coaching afterlife.

Possibly. It depends how everything else shakes out.

The thing you have to remember is that there is a committee now. I think LSU has a strong argument if they get hot and win the SEC after replacing their coach.

It's exciting because we have a new coach but bittersweet bc we have to fire him in 3 months

We might get an invite over a one loss team but we definitely don't want someone like Houston hanging around undefeated.

I don't think we'd fire him. That would be stupid. Especially if he wins out or only drops a game or two. Not saying we should keep him as HC. But I don't wanna see him leave the coaching staff. Coach O is a very good coach

if we win out and win the SEC, we're in the playoffs. FACT.

Hell, we might could even drop one and become the first 3-loss national champions

Sure, super excited! Maybe O is the next Nick Saban? Urban Meyer?

Sorry my brotha, don't see that happening.

IMO either he gets it or he's gone. Was passed over before.

Hope I'm wrong

Yeah. If he only drops a game or two, a bunch of schools reaching out for Coach O if we hire someone else.

We aren't going undefeated so you don't have to worry about this theoretical conspiracy.

That's not how coaching changes happen. Keeping aranda is one thing, demoting a intern head coach is another. He's just gonna sit there wanting his job back. You don't want that. Best case sinerio is CEO gets a head job out of this at some mid major
