Style of play has changed since end of season

Our offense is no longer aggressive. We don't swing at the first pitch, no aggressive enough on the bases. Blah blah blah.

Didn't know hitting slump was a style of play, maybe we should move to the spread.

Hitting slump my arse. We changed our approach. We were swinging at first pitch more than we are now.

Yet if players swing at the first pitch and make an out, people complain. They can't win.
