Won't happen. SEC will move this thing if they have to.

It needs to be and I'd say the closer to Columbia the better. After this mess some people with tickets from that area may just very well want and NEED some "normalcy" and football brings that.

I wonder how SC will react to the distractions like worrying about their homes flooding, family, etc.?
It could go two ways. One, they rally together and give an inspired effort, two, they are exhausted and distracted and just fold?

look at 2005 Arizona State, This game will be moved to Baton Rouge before it has too be cancelled. We had to do it so should they. I am not trying to be rude we the people of south Louisiana can relate to what this is like. I wish all of the students, players and families of South Carolina good luck and keep your heads up. I will be praying for them and hope they get through this together. Great thing about Americans is we pull together when rough times hit.

That was a slightly different scenario, Katrina was much worse on South La and Baton Rouge was basically one giant triage center.

That was also and OOC game, not a conference game, so there is a little bit of difference.

I would assume season ticket holders would be given a timeframe (say noon on Friday) to log onto their account and purchase tix and print at home. After that, first come first served to ticket office or online sales

I'm not saying they would move it, but if they did we could just move our next meeting back to SC.

It's not gonna be moved. Worst case it is played in an empty Williams-Brice because the stadium is fine.

The worst hit areas aren't event close to the stadium. Y'all don't know what you're talking about and are talking out your arse.

Having attended a Fulton County HS, I am not familiar with the Fulton County HS. Where is this located?

So they're not evacuating the campus because of lack of running water?

You likely know more than most of the slapdicks in this thread so thank you for this post. I hope it remains in Columbia. Looking forward to making the trip.

How about Milton High School? Is that stadium large enough to accommodate Georgia State's 176 fans?
