I wonder what his fastball would have been like if he had become a pitcher instead of a quarterback.
JR? That probably would have been a good idea. He could have gained 70 lbs and continued to pitch. Nobody would have said a dang thing! At worst he would have become a bullpen pitcher. lol

Jamarcus' arm was almost TOO strong- he never could really find the right touch on his deep ball. I remember him overthrowing too much early, then underthrowing deep balls as a junior.

His first year was painful to watch because every pass was a fastball. If some how our receivers could catch it, they would be knocked down by it. Add that to d-bowe being blind and there were a ton of drops. 2006 is one of my favorite teams of my life. I wish we could time machine 2003 vs 2006 vs 2011.

Jamarcus Russell had the strongest arm in the league when he went so I don't think it's a question about college. Also had the dumbest brain as well.

In all seriousness... It's Jamarcus and it's probably not even close... And in second a Mr. Jack Torrence broke the world record in the shot put back in 1934..That's gotta count for somethin huh? Probably not

the rant's blind hatred for JR will always astound me. Also, the myth of Flynn being a winner that propelled us to heights JR could not....ya know despite the fact that they had identical regular season records this years, 07 just caught a massive break.

Oh well....

Anyone who went to a scrimmage watched him throw

It wasn't pretty and wasn't strong

Bert Jones prolly.

But Brandon Harris has a very strong arm that'll keep getting stronger once he adds some lbs. He has a video of him on Instagram throwing it at least 55-60 yds on a knee.
