an entire crew viewed it for about 15 minutes and overturned their call. an objective person would conclude they saw something that the TV camera didn't pick up.
but, you are right and they are wrong. you are one of the reasons why LSU fans get the reputation of being whiners and having some sort of persecution complex.
no question that umps are human and they miss some calls; it appears to me the ump that called the original call missed the call. they are doing their job. I have umped and I know of no ump that favors one team over the other. football may be different due to the number of refs that hold degrees with schools and still allowed to ref their games. that should not be allowed BUT baseball? give me a break.
