Since when is a college baseball team with Jacob Berry, Cade Doughty, Dylan Crews, Tre Morgan and Gavin Dugas* a team that isn't talented?

Some of y'all sound like Lebron. Do we need 9 all Americans?

He has time to turn it around and he gets a couple of years to get his team in place but don't start acting like this shite roster that he working with.

Plenty of talent just not in the right places. Stop acting like we are loaded at every position and should compete for a championship with Johnson in his first year. God some of you are just stupid.

There's not much doubt we can hit. It's the other 2 aspects of the game we are struggling with and has led to multiple extra losses this year as a result.

Outside of hitting what do we have? This may be the worst rotation of pitchers that we have seen in a while. Outside of Money it's a bunch of arse

I think the pitching and hitting is ab where we expected them to be.

The problem is the fielding is so shitty our rape bats arent enough to overcome

Competing for a championship and where they are now is a massive difference. Nobody is saying they need to compete for a championship this year. But they are just bad right now. And that’s unacceptable.

A badass outfield, the best defensive first baseman in the league and great catchers.

I'm sorry that we don't have the Astros lineup

I think he'll win big but don't shift the goalpost. This team is underachieving.

The hitting is nowhere near what I expected. Our numbers are still inflated from the weak non conference slate. Our numbers take a steep dive when you look at the games where we played at least decent competition. We struck out 20 times last night. We struck out 15 times on Saturday. That's not getting it done.

This. Doughty and Berry are the only guys performing at the level I expected

this team is good at the bat, not good fielding and lacks majorly in pitching depth

Definitely talented, but 3 of the 5 you named are playing out of position IMO. Berry needs to not even bring a glove to the field in any circumstance because he should be the DH. Crews doesn't look comfortable in CF while Gio brings experience to the position and is a more natural fit. Doughty is our best option at 3rd and we have multiple options to play 2nd.

Pitching is simply mind blowing to me. I just can't comprehend how guys like Floyd, Reyz, Gervase, and others have made it this far without a serviceable secondary pitch. I also question pitch selection from Kelley. Pitchers have to be able to change speeds. If they can't, then ride the pine until they can.

Yea you compare that. And yet he still managed two CWS appearances in 7 years with those numbers. Let the man put it together.

Crews batting .384 (other than leading the team in Ks, I'd say he's meeting expectations)

Gio batting .342 (definitely exceeding expectations considering he wasn't even a starter to begin the year)

No college baseball team is loaded at every position. We have a top 10 most talented roster in the country. We are not playing like it right now. That doesnt mean we can't turn it around, but lack of talent is not an excuse for this teams play.

Hitting has been very inconsistent, also.
