That was an abortion. We could have gone 4 wide and torched them.

A safer than sorry approach

Arkansas lit them up with the running game. UGA lit them up with the passing game. Florida and LSU both played not to lose.

I thought I read that Les took over playcalling in the second half...

Maybe his play calling was over ruled?

Actually no. Jimbo was convinced that LSU's tackles couldn't handle the AU ends and wanted to keep it very conservative to avoid a costly turnover. The staff felt like they could shut down the Auburn offense and they did.

Wait are we blaming another Miles' coordinator for an ultra-conservative game plan that costs us victory?

You snowflakes are so predictable.
If it worked, someone else called it.
If it failed, Les interfered.
Doesn't this ever get old and stale even for you?

2004 Auburn was fun too. The 2004 post game call in show was fire and brimstone. Of course, that's entirely irrelevant now.

I remember hearing that Les and Jimbo constantly butted heads over offensive control.

Hester caught that ball on 4th down, and we would've scored a TD on that drive.

We win if the refs don't blow that call. End of story.

After watching Miles for 11 years, you still think that was Jimbo's game plan?

So...is it just a coincidence that every coordinator under Miles seems to be more conservartive than they've ever been before and after their time at LSU?

Was it 2006 when Early Doucet didn't get that call? Holy crap that was poorly officiated.

And in 2004 with the extra point. God I forgot how much I used to hate Auburn.
