Common sense would have to agree that he will likely start or atleast get a lot of snaps. You wouldn't think the staff would make a move like that unless he could help right away.

OP and sources aside, it is certainly within the realm of possibility that Stevens either starts or gets considerable snaps on offense. Chark is the only guy that can legitimately be assured as a starter. Gage was penciled as a slot and he's a converted DB.

Outside of Guice and Chark, we don't have a lot of established playmakers so adding more to the mix is a real positive.

I don't know how this season will turn out, but it is sure going to be entertaining.

Make enough guesses and you're bound to get one right eventually.

From what I've read (I forget where), because Canada's WRs perform so much pre-snap motion, there is a need for greater depth to keep from wearing down.

They moved a freshman from DE to TE last year, and he did not contribute right away. I think the staff would move someone to the most suitable position regardless of when, or if, he will contribute.

He's not a full time receiver. Still putting work in at safety

Not sure I remember Obell being a dominant college player.

His junior season he had 1150 yards in a Miles offense with
8 tds. That's like 2200 and 18 tds elsewhere

Plus we had another 1k receiver in Landry he was splitting with and a 1k rusher

Coach O pretty much hinted this earlier. He wants 8 receivers ready I believe and does want 4 receiver sets

Everything in your post is your speculation and opinion. There are no credible sources (or any at all to my knowledge) that state that any of those things are true. 1) you don't know that Jimbo was never coming to LSU. Sure jimbo said so after the fact but what was the guy supposed to say? He was about to Bail on FSU but they decided to pay me? 2) you don't know that we gave Herman a set of demands. Most stories say we came to an agreement with him and then he shopped it out to Texas so we bailed. Not the list of demands you claim. 3) there were 2 other coaches that LSU went after before signing CEO. So there was a coaching search which you also wrongly claimed never happened. I'm not saying the OP is telling the truth or that he isn't a complete liar. I'm saying that your load of BS isn't any better than his.

amen brother. the truth be spoken.

the poster is just pissed that we didn't land one of the two coaches HE knows about and is making shite up about the search because he is IGNORANT OF WHAT HAPPENED.

one day it will come out.

Hmmmmm. Im the opposite on this. I dont really believe that Jacoby came in and bumped every receiver. If he is a true beast, then he will add much needed depth in multi-receiver sets.

On the other hand, I actually believe that Jimbo had agreed to terms with the athletic department and that the President put the kabosh on the deal. This is from a source I trust. But, its all water under the bridge.

Im excited to have CAranada and Im pumped to see this 2 headed monster in action!!

I asked about Stevens, he said he's that dam good so good he's starting and other players will have to scrap for playing time!
He said this reminds me of honey badger and Odell Beckham were they burst on the scene making immediate impact.

This is the whole point of this board. Thanks for the info. Exaggerated or not.
