So we'll just be driving into Glendale for the Fiesta bowl. Is it better to stay in Scottsdale or Downtown Phoenix for New Years Eve?

Either would be fine. Both have plenty to do to be honest if your’re a vacation and Phoenix is a short drive if you want to go into town. Scottsdale is gorgeous and that’s what I’d pick.

Staying directly across the street from the stadium at the Hampton Inn. Easy enough to drive anywhere and no need to drive to the game.

Like some of the others. Stay in Scottsdale around Old Town. When you go over to Glendale a great BBQ. place is The Pits Again!

Staying in Glendale right next to stadium.
The Coyotes hockey arena is right there as well and they play Vegas on the 30th!
The Suns play the Warriors on the 31st in Phoenix but only a 40 minute drive.
I lived in Scottsdale for 2 years, great highways and I rarely ever sat in traffic.
