Most logical people around these parts knew the basketball program was set back for the better part of a decade when we fired TGeneral. McMahon is fielding a team of D-2 talent right now.

I miss Tremont Waters game winner against A&M. I miss Javonte Smart cooking the Vols in a rowdy crowd. I miss beating Maryland in the tournament. I miss signing 5*’s every single year.

We went from a General to a Mctrashcan. The most aggravating part? Woodward gave this guy an 8 year contract. Expect LSU basketball to continue to flail in the gutter for the foreseeable future.

Doesn't make a lot of us happy.

That is completely inaccurate. 8 of the 13 scholarship players on this roster were either 4 or 5 star kids out of HS or 4 star kids as transfers.

Talent is not the issue.

Curley McMahon. Ja Morant is basketball’s Brett Favre.

He also signed Jalen Reed and Tyrell Ward his first cycle. These dudes aren’t knocking down doors like Naz Reid, Trendon Watford, Cam Thomas, and Tremont Waters were.

Just because a guy had a 4* next to his name out of HS doesn’t equate to talent. A lot of the players on this current team were told to look elsewhere. What has Tyrell Ward done for us? Damion Collins 5* HS player? Got the boot from Kentucky. Coaching is a major part of it, but so is talent.

This is just completely wrong. We have solid players. The issue is coaching.

LSU men's basketball is dead. Wade revived it. Woodward killed it.

They lost to Nicholls.

At home.

Which probably means LSU is the worst team in the SEC, and the 4th or 5th best team in the state of Louisiana.
