Starting Pitchers

It doesn't matter who starts the games or who comes out the bullpen, if this offense doesn't wake up doesn't matter who pitches. The best chance we have at this point is for the offense to wake up and put runs on the board, if this happens I like our chances, if not then we are done. With what we have in the bull pen we can't win a close game, so the offense will have to carry us the rest of the way. Let's hope they wake up. Still have hope.

I agree. we can win a real low scoring game and we have proved that. but we ain't gonna win 6 out of the last 7 that way.
poche and then hale completely fricked up that game last night but we still probably would have lost it due to no hitting.

10-1 after 7 innings
TCU starting pitcher is in complete control, retiring the last 9 batters in order (5,6,7). Gets relieved to start the 8th because of the overwhelming lead, not because he was done. I don't remember pitch count, but Morrison likely could have continued, maybe even a complete game if needed. Sure it's much easier on him with such a big lead, but there's nothing to indicate his performance would have been any different in a 2-1 game. So does LSU get those 2 runs in the 8th or 9th with Morrison still in? Maybe, maybe not. From what we've seen the last month, unlikley at best imo. The 10-spot and all of the errors and "bad coaching" is what's gettting all of the attention, but 1 run through 7 innings with 3up/3down in 4 of the first 7 innings and poor offensive showing throughout is what likely had this team doomed regardless of what the defense did. I'm glad to have Lange for tomorrow.
