We all need to be the next two weeks according to this little historical gem I found on TD.

Crazy how this game has predicted the President Election:
Let’s take a look:

1984: LSU 16, Alabama 14. Ronald Reagan (R) demolishes Walter Mondale (D).

1988: LSU 19, Alabama 18. George H.W. Bush (R) defeats Michael Dukakis (D).

1992: Alabama 31, LSU 11. Bill Clinton (D) defeats George H.W. Bush (R).

1996: Alabama 26, LSU 0. Clinton (D) defeats Bob Dole (R).

2000: LSU 30, Alabama 28. George W. Bush (R) defeats Al Gore (D).

2004: LSU 26, Alabama 10. George W. Bush (R) defeats John Kerry (D).

2008: Alabama 27, LSU 21. Barack Obama (D) defeats John McCain (R).

2012: Alabama 21, LSU 17. Barack Obama (D) defeats Mit Romney (R).

Seriously, weird stuff. PS. THIS IS A POLITICAL JOKE. NOT BRINGING POLITICS INTO THIS POST. JUST THOUGHT IT WAS CRAZY.

dear sweet baby jesus, get MT back to guard. He'll get Etling decapitated against bama. Et;ing is fortunate not to be eating through a straw after Saturday.

If Weathersby is indeed 100%, all for it. But that ankle has to be ready to go against that DL, footwork is key.

I swore that was Weathersby in at RT when Etling got sack-fumble in OM game. Guess I read the numbers wrong. Here I was thinking that ankle wasn't fully ready because of that.

All NFL projections have Pocic at Tackle. Miles dumbass thinks he knows better and refused to develop a true center behind him instead he recruited a bunch of guards and decided to play musical linemen thinking he was making them versatile.

Nah Etling and Darrell Williams almost got etling killed. They were blitzing off the edge etling has to identify that and Williams should have slid over in pass protection....

Dellenger noted this in the film study. MT was blocking two players by himself after Moureau went out for the pass. Granted he should have at least picked one and blocked him instead of trying to block both and missing both but still not 100% on him.

Play action should have never been called. 1 minute to go in the half with a lead you don't turn your back to the Defense on your own 17.

Pocic just won sec lineman of the week at center. That's where he belongs. His tackle play versus southern miss was serviceable at best

This. There is some weird fascination with the thought that Pocic, an elite center, needs to play tackle because of his height.

We didnt watch the same game, he was very good out at RT after that first snap.

That's great and all, but that was against Ole Miss who has a bunch of nobodies inside. This is Alabama where has has struggled badly inside.

Not saying we should definitely make the move but Pocic's natural position simply isn't center, and it shows when he plays against good tackles who can get under him. It's just incredibly tough at 6'7 to snap the football then get good pad level under a guy about a half foot shorter than you.

This. And if Clapp and Weathersby can't go the whole game, then I would assume it's Maea to RT and Brumfield at LG. The plus here is all of these guys have played significant minutes.

From Left to Right.
Malone, Mae, Clapp, Boutte, Pocic.

Weathersby as first man up.

Is Clapp left handed? He can barely move his right arm and you want him at Center?

Clapp is obviously a tough SOB and I have great respect for him busting his arse out there while very clearly being injured. At some point though you might have to wonder if he is hurting the team by not being 100% or even 75%. Brumfield has looked pretty good in his opportunities.

If Weathersby is ready, I think you have to stick him at RT. Maea is a liability out there.

Has Clapp snapped the ball at Center once this year?

Although thinking of that, next year's line should be really good.

LT Malone
LG Teuhema
C Clapp
RG Brumfield/Campbell
RT Weathersby

Clapp will not be a center for us for any extended length of time. People just need to get over it and move on. He can fill in a few plays here and there but Dodd is the backup
