DE - Rasco
DT - Freak
DT - Ego
DE - Hunter/Maclin
LB - Debo/ T Jones
MLB - Melvin Jones/Barrow (Foster if he commits)
LB - Kwon/ T Jones
CB - Mills
FS - Loston if he doesnt leave if not then Corey Thompson
SS - Martin or Eugene
CB - Collins or any other freshman they might emerge because frankly Collins hasnt impressed me

I think this will be close to the starting lineup barring what we know. Melvin Jones has the stature of Kelvin Sheppard so i believe he will be a great MLB if he emerges but we will see i like the speed of debo and kwon on outside

If yall dont think Barrow is gonna start yall are crazy.

He'll start at eiother OLB or MLB.

i think he will start no doubt but like this year he was in situations...he didnt play every down...i really dont think cheif would put in kwon and debo at the same time so whatever one is out barrow will be placed in that spot to guide the youngsters to there spot...i think barrow is a great LB and will be a big key to the defense

I do. they play different positions, Debo's been at WLB and Kwon at SLB.

Looking at the LBs and DBs, I think this could be one of the fastest defensive units we have had. We have a bunch of LBs that run like most team's defensive backs.

DE - Rasco (4*)
DT - Freak (5*)
DT - Ego (4*)
DE - Hunter (3*)
LB - Kwon (4*) Tahj Jones Backup
MLB - Feist (4*) Melvin Jones as Backup
LB - Barrow (3*) Tahj Jones Backup
CB - Jalen Mills (3*)
FS - Loston (5*) (assuming he doesn't announce)
SS - Martin (4*)
CB - Jalen Collins (4*) (although Tre White could be in the mix here as well).

thats just my guess.
pretty obvious that linebacker will be the biggest question mark heading into the season, but no doubt the talent is there

I'd think that it's the strongest group heading into the season. your 2 deep doesn't have Lamar Louis, who started games after Kwon went down, or Debo, who was Barrow's backup at WLB.

Loston, Davenport and Sheppard should have erased any mention of how many stars a high school player had.

Maybe, Loston should probably be a linebacker...but absent a couple of coverage issues this year, I thought he faired pretty well.

I wonder how Kavarha Holmes looked in practice this year? He has size and lots of Speed

This is all way off.

Tahj Jones is back and will take a OLB spot, Lamin Barrow also was very good this year and starts at the other OLB spot. Melvin Jones is not an OLB, he is a MLB only and as a true freshman he will not start.

DJ Welter, Ronnie Feist and Debo Jones will battle for MLB.

What about Tajh Jones?

Thanks for lining that up, I've been trying to figure it out.

Strong talent, hopefully they've seen what happens when you frick off and get egotistical.

Many on this site have been critical of Loston in the past. IMO though, he will be the natural leader of this defense and have a great Sr year. Thought he actually emerged as we hoped his Jr year without serious injury.

What are you smoking? Barrow had 103 tackles and fully expect the coaches to slide him inside. Debo weighs 200lbs, he is not playing mike.

Melvin Jones will play mlb and prob will see some pt next year.

I say Barrow, M Jones, Feist in the middle.

Kwon, T jones, D jones, Louis on the outside.

True, but not coming out of high school. Shep put on 20-30lbs by his sr year and fans actually questioned miles for recruiting him as a 3* out of GA. He started out playing olb.
