I doubt PM does it but it's 5 run lead and State has 12 outs left. This would be a decent situation for Walker to come in the game without a ton of risk

Starters become relievers late in Omaha...this could be some nice experience mentally to finish the game like this

That's usually done out of necessity. It doesn't mean it is ideal. This is not an elimination scenario and Walker is not our best relief pitcher. Why try to use him in that way just because we have a lead?
