Anyone hearing that the SEZ construction is way behind? I'm hearing from TAF guy that they are worse off than they were with the West Upper delays. Looking at not having the general admission seats ready until after the first few games.

I keep seeing you post your "TAF guy"...

Either tell us who your TAF guy is, or your threads will just be considered rumors.

They got really far behind during the pile driving phase due to an unconsolidated sand layer lying where their seismic study said a solid foundation layer should have been. This forced them to have to drive more and deeper piles, putting the entire project way behind. However, by using a different concrete mixture that sets more quickly, they've been able to catch up for the most part, albeit at increased cost. They're still a little behind, but at their current pace, they should catch up and be ready on time.

My "TAF guy" is a friend of my parents and extremely rich and connected in BR and throughout Louisiana and actually told me:
1. Saban was leaving Bama and coming back to LSU a few years ago
2. Miles was almost 100% leaving for Arkansas
3. The rumors about an extra-marrital affair surrounding Miles were true and he would be resigning soon.
4. A few years back we were firing Miles and hiring Petrino.

I don't put an ounce of stock in what any "TAF guy" says. Especially one that may or may not even exist.

Sounds like he has a better batting average than some of the starters on the baseball team.
