How many do you think were REALLY there? Announced figure was 25,000 and change.

Why don't more LSU fans go to the spring game?

Since the 1980's Mississippi State has tied our spring football game with a big baseball home series (This year it was Florida) we drew about 11K fans to the baseball game which started at 12 and 36K to our football game that started at 5.

Well they didn't sell tickets. So that wasn't paid attendance.

There were a lot more things going on than the spring game. French Quarter festival--I seriously debated going to that instead--and the Strawberry Festival for starters. If I wasn't going to the spring game I'd have gone to both of those festivals.

Neither me nor AI

However, go to places with nothing else to do and you'll get 90k in a stadium...

we tailgated and I stayed at the tailgate and watched the game on tv. I didnt feel like baking in the sun. If it was a night game I would have went for sure.

I think LSU can't do this cause of some function they do with the player's families at night...but don't quote me on that. It would be neat to see how many more people would show up if the game were at night, though.

If it would be in the evening and not when its 100 degrees like it was this last game maybe more of the supposed LSU fans would go...its funny everyone says glorified practice, i think if you a true fan you should show up to watch it.. frick its free everyone bitches about all prices well they give you a chance to bring the family for FREE!! Just alot of fans who are to lazy to leave their couch.. I cant stand alabama but atleast their fans show up and fill the stadium for their boys, just wish we had more of this.... Uhhhh shite yall made me talk good about those bastards damn yall!!!

Did you go? If you did, what did you notice that was different from last year except for the players that were gone. Specifically, since everyone is interested in JJ.

If you went to the 09 & 10 spring games what was the difference? I watched it on TV and I have mixed emotions, sadness and distress! Why do I want to go to the spring game? I can be miserable at home!
