D. Lillard scored 25 a game in SL. Curry, 18. Klay Thompson 22. All as rookies afterndraft.

If you cant light up summer league you are Austin Rivers.

Lebron averaged 15 a game and D Wade averaged 13 a game in their summer leagues.

Seth Curry lead last year's Vegas SL in scoring at 24.3 PPG. KAT averaged 12 PPG and Porzingas 10.

The rant will find a way to blame a once in a lifetime talent that just needed a real coach

But the kid is NBA ready

But it's not the most talented basketball league. His shooting percentage is bad now. What will it be when he has real defenders playing against him? At least he is in the east, the east is pathetic.

He is playing against other nba rookies,2nd year players, and lesser known free agents. Its probably the 3rd or 4th most talented basketball league on the planet.

Thanks Rick, you just confirmed my point. This isn't the real NBA. Got to wait until November.

His passing is unbelievable. He's going to be unstoppable if he can get a consistent jumper.

It is amazing what he can do playing with guys that actually have a awareness. Such a creative passer.

And I think the jumper will come. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with his shot. He just needs reps.

He set SEC records that no players in the history have ever done.

Is there a similar video of these kinds of plays while he was at LSU?

IDK, but the games that I watched where he tried to make some of those passes were usually fumbled by the recipients. That didn't even happen as much in high school as it did at LSU. He's a facilitator first, but it didn't look like that's what JJ wanted him to be.

He did. I don't think any other player in SEC history has finished top 5 in the league in all of the following categories: scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and double doubles

People are forgetting that summer league teams don't even run that many plays. It's a few pick n rolls and very simple things. He has over 3 months now to get acquainted with teammates, learn an actual offense, continue working out.

Everyone wants to try and find a weakness in his game, but he's clearly been working on his shooting and it is greatly improved. The 76ers suck, but they still have better players than Alex Caruso. He may only score around 14 or so as a rookie, but it's pretty obvious to me he will be near double digits in rebounds and maybe even that many in assists.

They don't mean the brand silly. Ragu is the generic term that Italians use for sauce with meat and all kinds of stuff in it.

Dont you know that facts will never stand in the way of lsu fans shitting on former lsu players?

That's the thing. It's hard for me to think of him as a former LSU player. Just a guy passing through. I don't wish him any ill, but he doesn't embody LSU to me.

The free publicity he will give LSU over the next 15 years and beyond is priceless. It will be much easier to recruit for Johnny and especially the next coach because Ben was here. Oh, and by the way, if he plays 1000 + NBA games, he will have triple digits in career triple doubles. Don't rule out a quadruple double game in his career either.

What? He has given more to lsu basketball than 99% of the people on the planet. Youre saying he doesnt embody lsu because he was good enough to get drafted #1 overall so early?
