He asked me what the hell was going on with LSU. Said he didn't even have the heart to talk shite because of the respect he had for our program.
He seemed baffled as how quickly LSU has fallen into irrelevance. I told him that Bama would beat us by 50 and it'd take us a decade to recover from this hire made by our joke of an AD.

That is what is so pathetic. We used to be a threat to Bama, even after losing 6 in a row. Now, talking shite to us is like talking shite to Vandy fans. The gap is so wide, it's not even worth the breath.

outside of a very small few of their knucklehead fans, I Got the exact same response from friends that are bama alums and huge fans. I lived up in Hoover for 4 years before moving back to Austin so I know a bunch. Must of received a dozen texts today from them. They think Saban won't run up the score but hell their third string put 21 on Ole miss. who knows.

Our only hope is that Saban has the smallest soft spot still for LSU and stops at 49, if not it'll get into the 50s or 60s.

Yep - there's so much talent on this team and in this state. Just takes one good coaching hire and we're back in the race.

How about lost recruits from LA and TX? That seems like a problem that won't recover in just 1 or 2 seasons.

Seems like the Saban/Miles tension was kinda blown out of proportion. Who knows.. But ever time I see Saban look at miles during pregame for the Lsu/Bama game he is laughing with Les.
