I remember he was a 5 star guy that kinda disappeared in the running back by committee when he was at LSU. Watching his preseason game and the announcers said that he will be the featured back with the Chiefs this year. How many other guys from LSU that flew under the radar here made a name for themselves in the NFL? David Woodley is one that I remember only if it was for his superbowl.

He appears to be in much better shape(and likely faster) then he was here.'

He does look smaller but can still lay the wood like he did when he was at LSU. Another guy that just popped in my head, Brian Kinchen. He was in the NFL for awhile.

I still remember him running over that Vanderbilt catcher in 2010, I think it was. The guy took him on and paid for it.

Hard-hitting Spencer. Threw that fricking helmet of his into defenders like a spear.

2012 running backs had Ford, Hillard, Mcgee, Ware, Hill, Blue.

I didn't go back before that and I do remember all of them playing

Maybe I had the year wrong. I remember him playing baseball one season but he was primarily football, we all know that.

I remember him diving to make a catch right in front of my dad and I in the north end zone. That guy was really good.

Glad he's doing well.

The WR Mitchell kid that went to the white Sox was a good football player also. Chad jones was great in both. What was the LSU punter's name that played the outfield for us. Felt like he was our punter for 12 seasons.

Hmmm, outfield? I don't recall one but that doesn't mean there wasn't one there.

You got them both. I didn't realize Whitten was way back in 1998.
