How much longer do you expect AJ to hold onto the staring job? Does AJ lose the starting job this offseason? Does he hold onto the job for the next three seasons a la Jordan Jefferson? What say you?

Until he graduates, loses eligibility, or quits.

That's what I think also. Harris first game starting probably will be Kentucky

Depends on how well he plays. He may improve over the course of the season.

i think playcalling is one of the reasons why he is struggling. In high school he ran out of the pistol 100% of the plays. They need to call plays that Harris or Jennings is comfortable with.

Harris starts against Kentucky to get prepared for the rest of the season.

If that actually does happen, I see us having a legit chance in every game.

For as long as the coaches view him as the better of the two viable QBs.

Jefferson "held on to the job" because the coaches viewed him as the best QB on the team--and they saw a lot more from the QBs than we did. There is nothing in the stats or otherwise in the observable universe to suggest that Lee was a better option.

The coaches don't just do this shite to piss fans off.

ETA: For the record, AJ has started 5 games. I wish he were a stud right out of the gate like Hill, but he may need a few more games to get it together. We'll see. I'd be fine with Harris being made the starter assuming he has the maturity to be a leader on and off the field. I don't see the point of pushing for it prematurely, however.

It's crazy how fast everyone has turned on Jennings.

I, for one, still have faith in him being a great LSU QB.

Well when everyone wanted Harris to start in the first place, they will do anything to support what they originally thought.

With the current offense we're running (and our lack of running game), I don't think it really makes too much of a difference who plays quarterback.

So you're saying that Jennings is going to be better than Harris for the next three seasons? If so, then yes, Jennings holds on as the starter.

However, I think Harris has a lot of talent. He might take the position away from Jennings.

I say Harris should be starting. If Mett's knee doesn't get blown out last year, then I doubt Jennings would be the starter this year.

AJ-BH-back to AJ, them back to BH, until we are all so frustrated that we say f it. The offense will never develop the consistency that we want.
