At this point in the season, he should be punting 1000-2000 balls a day. No rest, no water, just practice your one job until your foot bleeds. There is no excuse for this guy to be that horrible at the one responsibility he has.

Miles said something to the effect that JK is "nicked up" and this is the reason for his performance or at least part of the reason. Anyone know more about this?

I just want the 2011 special teams back.

Mathieu averaged 15.6 yds per punt return w/ 2 TDs
Claiborne averaged nearly 26 yds per kick return w/ 1 TD
Punt team allowed 3 yds per return w/ 0 TDs

ETA: If you take away the NC against Bama (who averaged 22 yds per punt return) we allowed 0.35 yds per return.

Kick coverage - Call a coaches meeting , sit BDP on the front row and ask each coach individually how he thinks we should correct the problem.

I would not ask BDP

Then dismiss the meeting

IF it happens again

Dismiss ST coach-

Point- This is not rocket science. Most coaches would have repaired this gaping hole in our team by now.
