Isn't there a WR for Southern that was suppose to come to LSU? DeAngelo Brown or something like that? The announcers are talking about how blazing fast he is.

Just wondering.

Think LSU wanted him to go to Ju-Co or something because he couldn't make the grade on, I think the ACT, and he didn't want to. So he went to USM. Something like that. Don't remember exactly. Sure someone will correct me.

Well, guess I won't be interested in watching for him now.

Did you see the receiver's response when he saw DeAndre's leg? He looked freaked out.

It was a very bad injury. Protho's was way worse. His ankle was hanging at a 90 degree angle to his leg. Joe Thiesmans was pretty bad too.

Good chance Brown has a compound fracture. Damn I hate to see kids get hurt like that. The only part I don't like about football is the injuries. It is sad to see a kid end his career with some dumb injury.

I would think with that type of injury, thats very possible, though I think we all hope not.

It was a mid calf fracture. Most likely both bones involved. I would think it wont end his career. It will take a while to heal properly. As long as he didnt injure muscles or tendons he should be ready for spring practice. Protho's injury was in his ankle or end of the long bones. I forgot which. That is a much different injury that Brown's.
