Yes it is crazy. And you are a complete idiot for even thinking it.
I know it seems impossible after the last 4 games, but there is a slight possibility that Bama beats LSU.
And it is also possible that that could be LSUs only loss. So it is infinitely better for LSU of Bama loses today. It would basically eliminate them from the SEC title chase. And that does nothing but help LSU.
And don't worry about any perception of Bama being down affecting LSUs standing. An undefeated or 1 loss SEC champ is getting into the playoff.

UGA but I'll offer my reasoning. Even though I dislike Bama, that is not the reason. A Bama victory helps us in the short term since they would have a higher ranking when we play them in November. A Georgia victory gives them a chance to be a top five team going into the SEC Championship game. A victory over a top 5 team in December does wonders for us in the eyes of the committee.

If Bama played a team comprised of ISIS and Taliban leaders, I still would not cheer for Bama.
Especially since they are in the West. If they lose today, that's one less obstacle for us in the West (as of now).

The goals for LSU and every LSU fan should be the following, IN ORDER:
1. Win the next game
2. Win the SEC West
3. Win the SEC/secure playoff spot
4. Win round 1 of playoff
5. Win National Title
Now let's look specifically at number 2. Every time another SECW team loses a conference game, it helps LSU achieve goal 2.
So any LSU fan the even considers rooting for Bama vs UGA really does not want what is best for the Tigers.

Bama can go to hell. I can't take another year of that game in November basically propelling bama into the sec champ game. I want them to have as many losses as possible this year. Gtfo with this down year talk. It would be awesome to knock out an undefeated UGA in the SEC champ game.

You're trying to make a simple equation very difficult. First and foremost LSU must win the west. It's not a forgone conclusion that we will win in Tuscaloosa. Would you rather be playing an Alabama team two games behind us or one still in the hunt?
Don't pull for a team who can keep us out of the SECCG.
