Just think about it, our years of suffering (excluding Mett) could be over soon!

- Harris ends up being what we hope he will.

- We then have a returning weapon at QB next year, with a Senior behind him.

- This allows Franks to be able to come in and be groomed for 1, maybe 2 years.

- Franks becomes the starter with McMillan as a strong backup.

- Our recruiting continues to dominate and bring more top QBs in.

- Before we know it, a QB issue is a thing of the past at LSU

If Mett keeps looking as good as he does in the League and Harris has a solid year, our QB recruiting will sky rocket.

True, with "as we know them" being the important part of that statement. As soon as we lose a game, someone will be bitching about quarterback play and proclaiming that they were right all along and that the other quarterback should have been playing . . .

The stupidity never really ends.

Umm, why is McMillan being written off as a backup?

Terry B will have to make a public retraction. Which will be problematic since he has no idea what retraction means. He thinks it means new tires for the Mule.

Baring Harris having an All American year the QB race again next year will be up for grabs. Don't count out Danny Etling, just saying.

Exactly. Every report on him is that based on his camp and scrimmage performances, he is highly underrated and has a live arm and moxie. Coach Miles and Cam seems to be happy with him. Miles always mentions him without prompting. He might surprise a few people down the road. Franks might have to wait to start after the McMillan era is over at LSU. And that could be a good thing.

Yeah, I don't know why the kid isn't getting more buzz, but I'm not at practice and don't see what the coaches see.....But, when we have seen him at LSU, like the Spring game, or hear practice reports, they guy is racking up stats and TD's...So, it might be against back-ups, or whatever, but I'm not writing him off based on what we do know!

A flop, a backup and a criminal isn't going to do much in recruiting as Mett getting a shot at starting, Harris going off for two straight seasons with Franks right behind him (this is going along with the theme of the OP). And I say that with the upmost respect for Flynn.

Ryan Perrilloux is to blame. I can only imagine how our quarterback situation would be if he didn't frick up.

Well, let's see now. None of them were there and '12 should be excluded because Mett was better than average even before CC.
