Something to remember about Miles and Coordinator hires

He usually likes to hire people he has a direct connection to
He doesn't meddle with the defense so it will be someone that he trusts, so likely no OTJ training, no first time DC
Don't expect an announcement any time soon, Miles can spend more time directly recruiting face to face if they are a man short on the staff
Expect rumors to really start flying after the AFCA Convention Jan 11-14
Right now they are traveling back to Baton Rouge. Expect the next few days to be quiet as they go into full on damage control with the recruiting. They also have end of the year meetings to take care of.

Pretty sure there was a connection through his agent for miles and chief. Not sure, but no doubt as long as they have both been around they knew each other
