Your opinion--like the OP's--is shite. If you haven't figured out how to prefer one player without shitting on another, you're a terrible fricking fan. FACT!

He's not flashy, but he is very productive. Reminds me of Joe Addai. He has the potential to be a NFL caliber RB.

48 of those yards came on one carry in the 4th quarter of a blowout. half of his carries that game were in the 4th quarter

So they came at a time where he was still playing against the 1s and the D knew LSU was running the ball. No chance of pass and still ran for those numbers

Blue is the only threat to Jennings for the Heisman

I'm talking about passing judgement on a player before the season starts; something you were against in the case of Welter but have no problem with in the case of Blue. He started last year as our #1 back and has put up great numbers.

That's all I'm saying.

Hell that's all i'm saying. Blue has put up plenty good numbers but you write him off just like you complain people are doing to Welter.

He's a grinder with great speed. He looks to head up field quickly. Doesn't really rely on much besides cuts and a stiff arm. This dude finishes runs. He's not flashy, but he's awesome at every aspect of the position. A true team player who is humble and does his duty on every play. He's tenacious though.

people are looking at the numbers to much. Blue is a solid back, but the rant hypes him up way to much

He was named the starter last year for a reason (yes, he beat out Hill). He runs .2-.3 faster of a 40 than Hill. He doesn't cut as quickly as Hill, that's the only drawback I see, but he accelerates a lot faster and has more speed. He also put on around 15 lbs this offseason, putting him near Hill's weight. He's proven himself in the chances he's had and gives us a lot to look forward to IMO... I won't say one's better than the other simply b/c of the fact that they've gone against different defenses.
