Not really a fair comparison since 2010 didn't have an FCS opponent in 1st 5 games, imo.
Regardless, the team is looking good so far.

I did my own analysis yesterday comparing the two offenses, and what I discovered is there isn't much difference between the two except: turnover margin and scoring.

This year's team gets it in the end zone a far greater percentage of the time compared to last year. We settled for FGs far too often in 2010.

we also turned the ball over in the redzone a few times which can't happen.

Yes, I love the time of possession this year, and the red zone success is phenomenal. I'll take four 45 yard TD drives over 2 90 yard TD drives any day of the week.

Might just be me. But 4 more minutes average against better opponents is a pretty impressive difference.
