Add to this, but these are my suggestions, from my experiences...
1. Open Wifi, because phone service sucks bad in stadium.
2. Sell Alcohol, people like to drink.
3. Bring back more of the traditional Band songs, and get them more involved rather than the crappy music over the system all the time!
4. Flat screens with HD in the lobbies by concessions
5. Bolt on Chair backs on every bleacher seat, people would enjoy some comfort when visiting the stadium.
6. Stop scheduling neutral site games, and start scheduling more home and home openers!

The traffic situation is really not fixable, so that really won't help.

This is my profession, and this is a much bigger undertaking than it sounds on paper. I would love free, working, fast wifi in Tiger Stadium but 100k people/devices complicates the issue.

Agree 100%. I think people drink too much before the game because they can't get it inside.

This is something LSU doesnt have much control over. ESPN and CBS pretty much control this

Then why do most all other stadiums do it?

These are all very good suggestions. They are easy fixes. The athletic department should be aware of all of them because many people have suggested them. Why it hasn't happened is beyond me.

If I was ATT i'd partner with LSU/Tiger Stadium and have them put their open access WIFI in TS. Would be good marketing for them.

Times sure have changed. How did we manage in the 50s and 60s? My first games in TS were the early 60s. No sound system except for the occasional call for a particular doctor (a number not a name) to report to wherever.

The scoreboards, two of them, had removable letters for the visitor. The ONLY ads were for CJ Brown if I remember correctly. Men wore suits and left early only if the game was a blowout, and maybe with a few minutes left. Very little, if any, tailgating. Lots and lots of buses.

Anyone else old enough to remember band night in TS?

This may be a dumb question but would it be feasible to simply have major carriers install equipment that could push signal into the stadium?

This would be great, and this is always something mentioned on this board. However, isn't there some kind of SEC rule/agreement that all but prohibit alcohol sales during SEC games?

I guess this wouldn't prevent us from selling alcohol in games like Southern Miss, but for most of our home games it would still be unavailable.

This is the only one that I think would legitimately make a difference. No. 5 is runner up.

The other three are just eyewash. If a fan gives any of those as reason they doesn't stay in stadium, then they just don't want to be there.

I will say that it's pretty inexcusable for the TVs to not be updated. It's a relatively inexpensive fix. Maybe it'd be more labor intensive that I think it is.

1) You're at a football game... wtf do you need your phone/wifi for?
2) Yes. And bring in revenue. But I believe the SEC forbids it iirc
3) Pleeeaaaase. Don't see it happening though.
4) The TVs are long overdue for an upgrade
5) I'm guessing there's a policy against bringing your own. I understand the reasoning, but if they'd change that policy or just abolish it all together, that would be sweet
Until a big dude named Bubba comes and sits next to you with his chair complete with cup holders and a canopy. But you can definitely set restrictions on size.
