I know I started it early but just wanna get it out the way. No TV can watch on WatchESPN or listen on 1007.3. LSU will play Penn State 30 minutes after this one finishes.

Wonder if Torina will be stubborn and play certain upperclassmen over more capable underclassmen tonight. Let's hope not.

There are a few certain freshman who could run circles over some of the older girls

I read her preseason press conference and certainly is aware at how stacked the freshies are.

fuggg, you know shite is bad these days when I'm glued to what Beth has to say preseason. So excited spring sports are here, where we actually don't suck

And we're off. Torina was very open in Media Day saying the only person that has locked a position down was Serrett, so who knows what we will see this afternoon.

And she also said she's going to be switching the lineup a lot early on so worrying about the opening game lineup is dumb.

Damn. Now who else do we wait for to bring out the negativity, so this season can really be in high gear?

educote and Le Tenia are the only ones off the top of my head.

Should be a good first test for LSU today as OSU defeated McNeese 5-1 earlier today.

Softball is nasty stacked this year.
Wouldn't surprise me if they go undefeated in non-conf play

The talent is definitely in place to upgrade some of the positions over the returners. The staff has done a great job recruiting. It will be interesting to see how it transitions in. The sooner the better to let the youngsters get their feet wet.

remember, the juniors and seniors have made back to back appearances in the WCWS. FLorida had a few consecutive appearances before finally winning it all if i recall a few years back.

Beth Torina is what I wish every LSU men's coach was like. unquestionably competent in her sport, direct, a fierce competitor, sharer of credit, appropriate deflector of outside blame from her players. Most importantly, her teams flat out get the job done and produce on the field.
