Did those idiots realize that we are hosting the series, and not a school in the Pacific Time zone?

This. I can't believe that LSU agreed to such a late start.

guessing LSU didn't have much of a say... ESPN said "we want LSU's series" and NCAA said "ok... late night start for them"

I don't think you get a chance to negotiate for softball. You do what ESPN/NCAA tells you or you don't get put on TV.

Kenny Chesney goes on at 9:25, so it'll be close.

It's not as bad as it is after any home football game.

ESPN has all of them. I was told at the park today that in their bid, LSU requested Thursday/Friday slot because of Redneckapalooza. We see how well that worked out. Everyone on the planet is ESPN's bitch.

Beating asu and zona back to back in regionals in softball is the equivalent of winning the sec in baseball.

Bama/OU was gonna get the premium spot and since we've been on all weekend not surprised we got the short straw. Hopefully the Sunday games don't get kicked to ESPNU.

The Late night start has more to do with the fact we are playing a pac-12 team than anything else. That's 8pm Arizona/7pm California time.

Actually, Arizona doesn't recognize DST...so it'll be 7 there as well.

Sorry...I couldn't help being "that guy."
