how is corbello looking? I remember her putting the team on her back in postseason last year when I was watching.

Corbello is pitching well and has cut back on her walks. The other 3 pitchers are pitching great also so Corbello won't have nearly the workload this year, which is good for all involved.

Looks like good chance we have 2 LA teams in wcws! Ragin Cajuns #6 and also undefeated. They have 2 pitchers with zero era thru 13 games

DIAMOND NOTES: The win over Hofstra marked the 700th all-time at Lamson Park (now 701-102-1)...At 13-0, the Ragin' Cajuns are off to their best start since opening the 2012 season at 29-0...Louisiana has homered at least once in all 13 games…The Cajuns have homered multiple times in nine of 13 games…Shellie Landry completed the day's action 5-for-6 with six RBI…With seven home runs, Landry has surpassed her total from 2014 (five)…Jordan Wallace allowed just one hit vs. Missouri State and has surrendered only six hits over 38 innings pitched..Cajuns pitching has tossed 11 shutouts in 13 games and has given up just four runs (two earned) in 82 innings…
I definitely see both teams making the WCWS. Geaux Cajuns and Geaux Tigers!!!!

Savannah may be... Or Bell. As good as Ashlee Ducote was her junior year in 1999. These girls are good.

What teams has ULL faced so far? Can't imagine it's anywhere near the talent LSU has faced this season.

uL going to Bama this weekend...losses are coming.

I wish they played each other this year in the regular season. Who wins?

LSU's pre conference schedule is brutal. To have survived thus far unbeaten is testament to the talent Beth has accumulated.

Agree. Wins over Zona, Northwestern, Nebraska, NC State this early in the season is strong!

Honestly I wish we would've gotten a stiffer test this weekend. Zona is good and Nebraska should end up in the postseason(they beat Tenn. right after our game) but looking at what other teams went against we got an easier draw.

That and how focused they are.

Beth is killing it on the recruiting trail. The class here now, the one in 15 and the one in 16 is insane!
If we have some Tiger fans than haven't made it out to Tiger Park then you are missing a treat. No knock on the Box, but the softball games are so fast and exciting it will make you quickly forget about baseball (at least for a moment).

Damn SEC 148-33 so far. Conference play should be an adventure

No kiddin'. Mizzou looks to be a darkhorse in the running.

Looks like Quinn is starting to come around, which is good. Griggs will only get better with experience. You have to like where we are at right now. We have so many pitchers, everyone has to feel a sense of relief knowing you have 3 other capable pitchers there for you as well. We even have another outstanding pitcher coming in next year. Torina is not afraid to go out and play the best. We have beaten ND twice, NC State, Nebraska, Cal State F., Arizona. I feel like There is no true number one pitcher, they all are great and bring something different. The only thing I think is unclear is who our full time DH will be. Beth does like to try different things. I think you will see Bourg and McCasland along with Suppak get more opportunities.
