"My question is, is Torina's personal relationship with this particular hitter, clouding her judgment? I am 100% sure Torna preaches selflessness and team first. I think that is the T and S in the T-I-G-E-R-S slogan. Time to practice what you preach."

Well, if memory serves me correctly one slumping slapper was dropped and bounced around the lineup, while the other slumping slapper stayed put right where she was. These things aren't hard to see. Same as another poster that said since Serrett has been moved to SS, Bell to 3B and Jaquish catching, their bats have cooled.

These ladies are 28-9, just finished with the toughest part of their season, takes two out of three at a top ten UGA team, and will likely remain in the top ten this week, but we are choosing to arguing about a slumping, but extremely talented Emily Griggs.

Sandra Simmons slumped badly earlier in the season at the plate and Coach Torina never took her out of the lineup. Could it be that she (Griggs) stays in because she one of the best outfielders? Mind you it took about 25 games to figure out who was playing left field.

Stop reaching for things. Torina is focused on the development of LSU Softball. It is clear and evident. Let's chill on the disrespect.

That shouldn't have a drastic effect on the hitting. We just simply aren't hitting well. Why the hell would Bell playing 3B affect her at the plate? Now the batting order could have an effect but the defense is light years better right now with Serrett at SS and Bell at 3B, with Jaquish catching. Aside for the players that have been moved, even the ones that have stayed in their same position has been struggling as well.

The slappers have struggled severely this season, I cannot answer why. Its not just Griggs as much as everyone wants to single her out. Landry as been up there as well.

Whats alarming to me is how much we are striking out. Its a ridiculous number. I really have no answers for our offensive woes right now. Maybe its due to playing such a brutal schedule for 5 weeks straight and have confidence issues? Who knows, but we should see improvement the rest of the season. As we should win out the rest of the schedule until Washington.
