People need to lay off Griggs, yea she's struggling but she is a good hitter she will bounce back

So a .343 average last year in 140 at bats for the season last year and .345 in SEC play in 55 at bats is definitely SEC quality.
She is definitely struggling right now, but she is definitely SEC ready. Slumps -- everyone goes through them and I'm sure she'll come out it. Several players have gone through some slumps at times and they all worked themselves out of them. I just keep cheering for all of the players because they are representatives of us who are alumni of LSU and they have earned and deserved our support -- AT ALL TIMES.
A lot of this is because you don't like her father. Don't take it out of her because of how you feel toward him or any of the coaches.

Not laying into Griggs. She is a decent hitter. But if a hitter, any hitter , is in a slump and not able to hit their way out of it, sitting them for a game or 2 is another option. Helps them to refocus. Not a sure thing but another option. My question is, is Torina's personal relationship with this particular hitter, clouding her judgment? I am 100% sure Torna preaches selflessness and team first. I think that is the T and S in the T-I-G-E-R-S slogan. Time to practice what you preach.

I have nothing against her father. he seems nice. but the fact still remains that griggs is struggling and needs to be DP'd for.

So you're saying that because Beth has a personal relationship with Griggs, she is her godmother, that she would not give Griggs more rope then she would any other kid? I guess in all of your years in the coaching business you've never seen this happen. Is it really that absurd?

Alex Hugo has also been struggling this season. By ur standards she's also not sec ready. U have no clue what ur talking about. If u were to bench ever player that goes through a minor slump u wouldn't have a lineup to put together. Ur an Idiot

I believe in Griggs rebounding and also in Torina's judgement. Encouragement is the key to all slumps, which BTW, many if not all athletes endure.

Don't really have an opinion on her dad. Other than he's a Twitter troll. And he coached the Mustangs in Kansas. She had a good year last year. But she isn't a lead of batter. Doesn't have the OBP.
