I get the logic of 1 player can't ruin the team. It's a snowball effect IMO.

As for "the leadoff spot" isn't doing great. Listen, the "leadoff" batter is guaranteed to be the leadoff hitter once, 1st inning. After that, it's completely random. So it has nothing to do with it, except to say you start the game off with an out more often than not. Thats not ideal, but even then if the 2 hitter gets on, that out isn't a big deal anymore.

They need a spark maybe sit Serret and put bell at short let jaquish play third. Put bourg or Serett in left. Id be putting reserves in if it was me coaching

Our rundown attempt made Sportscenter for some reason. Stan was not impressed.

Yeah that looked bad. I was waiting for Kloss to throw the ball, same with Quinn.

For those who slam Beth at every chance, she is making moves, trying to do something with the hitting, while maintaining defense.

You look at Kraemer, its sad she struggled in the field but she is a better hitter than some of those playing full time.

None of us know what goes on at batting practice. Maybe Hoover's been knocking the skin off the ball in practice. Walljasper has gotten more hits in the last few games than some of had in the last three weeks.

Like many have said, some things done coaching-wise may not have worked, but Beth is trying.

Looks like a "Tom Coughlin" situation where you put your best players out there, and they choke, and everyone wants the coaches head for it. If it's any of Beth's fault, it aint nearly as much her's as it it her players'.

Today's a new day, move forward.

I am curious to see what changes take place as far as the lineup goes. Griggs is doing better. They will pitch Walljasper today, I am sure. I'd sit Serret down, move Bell to short, Jaquish to third, put Bourg or someone new in left field.

A month ago, they'd run rule Miss State two out of three games. Can happen again.

Agree, at this point why not go back to the lineup that got us to the world series last year. An infield of Simmons, Bourg, Bell, Jaquish with Kloss behind the plate. Can Quinn play outfield? Seems like everyone else has tried? Griggs in left, Landry in right and Quinn in CF. Why not? Last year was one of the most productive line ups we have ever had.

Today is a new chapter, we will win!

I think they are just putting too much pressure on themselves. Almost the entire team coming back and expectations being so high. That's the only thing it can be. We know the talent and skill is there. They just need to find a way to relax and from a mental standpoint start the season over.

Highly doubt Serrett sits. Worst case, she goes back to LF. The fact that Coach Torina has rolled out the same 10/11 kids repeatedly regardless of results let's you know the plan.

Yeah. I doubt she would sit Serret but it would be justified in a sense. Bourg can play outfield

So either Mr. Griggs will get him, or Mr. Torina?

Maybe they have "people"...
