It's not the coaching. I think putting Serrett at short was the best thing for the defense.
The players talk about doing whatever's best for the team but they need to walk the walk.
It shouldn't matter where you play in the lineup if it's for the betterment of the team.

The term primadonna comes to mind. I gotta believe their's at least one on the team. And the others don't like it.

The more the losses pile up, the more you guys are coming around.

You make consessions for 1 or 2 players, other players see it. But you want a "team" effort. Coaches set the tone, period.

I feel like every softball thread now turns into the same person using alters to talk to themselves. Then it turns into Savanna Jaquish ruined the team thread...

You keep saying that, and saying it BS, but the losses keep piling up. It's not any players fault though. It's the coaches fault.

Also, no one mentioned her name.

I am the biggest Beth Torina fan out there. Its the players job to execute but these type of performances, its not just one player, its the entire team. That falls on the coaches, and do they deserve criticism.

I am baffled how our goes from one of the best offenses in the entire country to we can't do anything against anyone anymore. We look lost at the plate. Our strikeouts have doubled. Numbers are down all over.

I don't have any answers. What makes it even more mind boggling is we returned everyone from last year except one player. I know lead off position is important but its not the reason we are struggling this badly

i'm not Educotes alter. I disagree with just about everything he comments on.
I'm a retired coach who just happens to see things from that point of view.

Have you not read the comments? Its funny how all these random posters who barely have any posts just show up in this thread and start posting and hinting a specific player. No her name was not directly said but its implied.

Walljasper needs to go Friday and Sunday. Hoover Saturday only. Numbers bear that out.

I cant see one person ruining the team. Offensively the team is not dong well at all and pitching is not good at times but the coach os responsibile o make moves and decisions. She waited too long to pull Hoover that alone really affected the outcome

Well it over once they passed 2. Landry booting the ball to allow them to move up and whatever happened on that rundown was the primary factors in those runs.

Walljasper seems to be pitching with more confidence than Hoover

The team looks deflated. Beth needs to right the ship in a hurry. I'm starting to have my doubts that we make it out of the regional round. What's up with Carley? She is nowhere near as dominant this season.

Pitching wasn't good but I am much more concerned with this offense.

If you watch closely when she squats on her pitches she is bouncing back up after bottoming out in the ealrly part of the season she was not squatting that far down and i think she is tired and burned out.

It does seem as if she's staying down longer than she used to. I wonder why she decided to monkey with her wind up motion. If it ain't broke then don't fix it.
