Watched the first 2 inning and wondered if the pitcher for Arizona st wasnt throwing illegal pitcges. Her right foot wasnt staying on the ground. I thought if you lifted that slide foot it was an illegal pitch. Was she called for any illegal pitches?

Yep. It was ridiculous. What's happened to our discipline at the plate? It's like the team has literally forgotten everything that propelled them to such an amazing start to the season. We are a shell of the team we were about a month and a half ago. There is no fight, no fire, and no discipline. It almost looks as if we'd rather be somewhere else. I've never coached a team sport, but what can cause the kind of total collapse we're seeing?

We live and die with our top 5 hitters and for the last three weeks AJ has been awful. Jaquish has struggled and Landry and Bell have cooled off. We are simply not good enough at the bottom of the order to depend on them to come through. Bourg will be a good player in the future but is not a difference maker now and Quinn hasn't been good in quite a while.
It's do or die time now so we will see what we are made of tonight.

The top half of the order has to be much better. I am confused how we struggle so much at the plate lately. Hopefully we can pull it together. Beth must be infuriated her comments after the game literally made it sound like she has no clue why they are struggling. I could see her beyond frustrated while she watched some of the at bats.
Talking to a few people in the program there will be some changes this off season. What they are I am not sure, whether its on staff, the current roster, or with some the new players in I am not sure. Its just speculation right now. I am very curious.

I don't know whether some girls got complacent or what but it's night and day from earlier this season. It's baffling. I would say they need to get rid of the masks and crap in the dugout but that's just my "maleness". I know what motivates female athletes is totally different especially in the softball culture but it's frustrating watching girls clown with phones on their heads while the at the plate performance is anything but funny. Let me shut up now.
