Yes...3rd error...if I had to guess, the infield was playing in and Serrett probably knew she had to make a quick pick up and throw home and bobbled it or something.

It happens, still pretty solid showing it's still very early this season. Kinda concerned with hoovers control rn, it's tough to do well at this level constantly behind the count against these batters.

If they can regroup and beat Utah, it will still be a very successful tournament.

i hope Quinn comes around soon. I am sure Beth wants to keep her out there. Maybe when Allie pitches, they can use a DP to hit for Quinn if she don't come around.

I do too. I am glad the SEC ditched it years ago. At one time, the SEC had the rule starting with the 10th inning, but eliminated it a while back.
But it accomplished its mission tonight...it kept the game from going on forever and backing up the next game.

Losing a nail biter to a top 5 team in the country, especially with a lot of new faces this early is nothing to be ashamed of. We will get better from this. TBH who knows how this game would have ended if we didn't use the international rule
