divide that by 5 and you get 7.75 mil/year

That may be but Les is gonna move his entrenched family to Arkansas? I seriously doubt it. It's not like he is Saban with no attachments. He isn't going anywhere. Just give him some more money. That's what this is about.

that buyout is for if we fire him, not if he leaves. I think his buyout for leaving anywhere other than Michigan is pretty low.

Arkansas has money. Their program's revenue has increased by 59% over the past two years alone. They also have very little debt.

I'm not sure about the exact number, but I think Arkansas said they are willing to spend $9 mil/year for the entire coaching staff.
