What could he tell you, or provide in tangible information, that would make you agree with his decision to relieve Wade of his duties?

I am curious if the administration will ever be fully transparent on the reasons to let Wade go. Was it to minimize NCAA infractions? Was it internal issues between Woodward and Wade? Was it to protect other programs? Did it allow Woodward the opportunity to expedite the ability to hire his own coach?

The issue is that most would like to see them stand by our coach who brought back excitement in basketball. Wade was likely on the cusp of making a deep run but now we’ll never know. Woody hasnt lost me but this sucks. I’d like for him to get this wrapped up so we can move on. IF in a couple of years it looks like we’re rebuilding then great

Fact.
Woody don't care what a bunch of butt hurt fans think right now. He wasn't going to sacrifice himself for these people.

Not any more. He ruined that chance.

Y'all can go pull for him when he gets another job in 5 years or so.

No, he has not lost any LSU fans. Wade needed to go. There is right, & there is wrong. Woodward is doing the right thing.

This is understood.

Back to my question. What could Woodward show or tell you and still make you say, "Ok. Wade was doing great things for the program, but I understand now."

The only people I know or talk to who have a problem with Woody are a few random people here on TD.

right.........................

bullshite on wade deserving to be fired.

over 1,000 players in the transfer portal now chasing the next best "opportunity".

Meanwhile Coach K still coaches, Bill Self still coaches, Bruce Pearl still coaches, Penny Hardaway still coaches, and Sean Miller still coaches!!!!!!!!!!!

LSU basketball will be a damn dumpster fire in the SEC and I won't be renewing my season tickets.

Woodward ain't no different than a Louisiana politician. He was in bed with the cheating Jimbo Fisher. Now he wants to cry foul and yell LSU is committed to it's student athletes first and foremost. GTFOH with that bullshite.

False if you were committed to basketball like Kansas. That fat fricker is nothing but a power hungry a-hole like his boss. They not only bent over but greased their own assholes by releasing all of those player from scholarships ie not renewing them. Cowards. Plain and simple. At WORSE there would have been 2 of those NOas that would have stuck to basketball and LSU had already wrapped up football. He wanted a clean slate to set his sorry arse up and blame Alleva and Alexander for it all. He didn’t renew those scholarships so he can say they had a “faux” death penalty and the NCAA would allow them to be in the tourney quicker. Why the frick do you think that fat fricker let them play this tourney? He already cut that deal and showed “compassion” towards the players to let them play. frick him.

That's some fairy tale you spin.

The truth will be told when the NCAA gives it's ruling. I believe he should have waited till after the tournament to do anything. I don't think it would have mattered and would have been fairer to the "student athletes" that they claim to care about. He hasn't lost me but I think he could have handled things better. Remember they were allegations. And one pertaining to VCU. LSU could have simply issued a statement that we are in receipt of the NOA and will comment on it after the NCAA tournament. Simple.
