Etling will start. But I bet Ensminger will have a package for BH6 and maybe even Scott. Will see some different looks than we had with LM around. Might even work!

Lindsey MFing Scott, that's who.

easily the brightest and best baller of the bunch. he may not have enough reps, he may be raw, but frick it. trim down the playbook and throw his arse out there against mizzou.

Unless Coach O and or Ensminger decide to not redshirt Scott, this will not happen.

I hope at least LSU gets a big enough lead to give McMillan a shot.

I'd still go with Etling. He has great touch on his passes, he doesn't get rattled, rarely I should say.

He showed a lot of heart when he stayed in the game while he had his forehead busted open and a split lip.

We are not going to run a spread offense this year period end of story. Expect us to run the same offense we have been running with a few new wrinkles "more throws to TE's and RB's etc..." which is something Harris, as a starter, has proven that he has a difficult time completing those touch throws along with not going through his progressions very well. Etling so far as proven he can hit the short to intermediate passes with some accuracy along with going through his progressions. It is Etling's job to lose at this point, not Harris job to win.

Lindsey Scott. Set that red shirt on fire and will football games. Etling is not that much better than Harris. Give Etling a shot but Scott should get the ball going forwardif Etling struggles.

I wonder about Etlings mindset. He came here for and through Cam, no he's gone. The kid has to be torn up.

Etling has been the more effective of the two as as now - not to say he has been lights out. Neither have shown that level of play. But I think he can get better and better. At least I hope so. Plus I thought Ensminger had already been working with BH during last season. Not much to show. Sad for BH, he's a quality young man.

Up to the new coachs but what is known is that the offensive line needs to do a much better job of blocking

It may be the dual QB rotation, the kind that was so popular in an earlier era. Shades of Hodson/Mickey Guidry, Wickersham/Doug Powell, Alan Risher/Robbie Mahfooz etc.

Only a very partial family member, or a clueless QB evaluator, would say to do anything but start Etling. Unless he got hurt or they enacted a trail run at the true spread, which I don't think is happening.

Dude - Esminger and craig recuited brandon

cam was DE's only guy on the staff.

Look for a dual threat friendly offense. Harris is back in.
