UCF swept Tulane in the regular season and in the last conference tourney game for both. In the regular season they won the 3 games by a combined 4 runs. UCF has ok pitching and hit for some power but not consistently. I would think LSU could handle them at the box pretty easily. And they are the biggest douches in NCAA baseball, real cocky and love to run their mouth.

I don't care who comes to the Box. At the end of the week, we'll have to play whomever shows up. I've seen UFC play. I've only heard the words "Stony Brook" a handful of times, and I have never seen them play anything! So seeing them would be cool in that aspect. And for anybody claiming that they don't have a chance of coming to the Box and winning, they are sitting in the winners bracket of the Miami regional!

Correct. This is a SUPER Regional. No cupcakes at this stage of the game.

That being said, I don't care who LSU faces.

... oh, and btw - Stony Brook has won like 23 of 25 coming in if they make it ...

Question : Which is cooler college name ?

- Slippery Rock ?
or
- Stony Brook ?

Stoney Brook! Would be quite an achievement for either team, but it would be nice to see a noname college make a run to the supers.

The senior beat writer for Baseball America picked Stony Brook to win their regional, saying that they had 9 players play in the Cape Cod league last summer.
